Please help me. I am trying to make an order form for a blind cleaning company. I have the order form and the subform made. But I cannot get the following calculations to calculate per row:

In subform: Width X Quantity = Total Feet; UnitPrice X Total Feet = Line Total

My company has to use the width x qty=total feet for blind totals but width does not have to be used and can be skipped, therefore UnitPrice X Quantity = Line Total

Do I have to run a query or can I do calcs from form?
I have tried running codes and I get calcs from all orders in the total feet textbox. I have tried queries and gotten same calcs, I've tried nulls...It's easy if you only have unit price x quantity
but I end up having width x quantity x total feet x unitprice and that's where I'm having trouble.

HELLLLLP!!!!

You should be able to put this calculation in your Line Total Control Source

=[Width]*[Quantity]*[UnitPrice]

TRIED IT

Hi,

Thanx for the code. I have already tried it:
=[Width] * [Quantity] * [UnitPrice] and I get a total of all the orders in the database instead of just the one line.

Any other suggestions?

Are you doing your calc in the detail section of the form? It sounds like you may be in the footer.

I wish it were that easy!!!

Thanx Jerry...I wish it were that easy. I am in the detail not in the footer. I first thought that too. I am still trying, any suggestions would help, I feel I have researched and exhausted myself to death. But I won't give up!!!
