Hi Guys I have a small Issue Which Im not really understanding.
I have a main form with a order details form inside that.
I have placed a textbox inside the order details subform and using the expression builder created a =sum to work out the amount * qty.
Then on the main form a totals textbox which again using expression builder is = =sum subform textbox value.
This has been working fine up until now.
Now I have another form (FormFlash) which has a shockwave active x control on it which plays a flash movie/animation. this form (formflash) is going to be used on a dual screen so basically one screen will show the formflash and the other screen will show. the main form.
I have got all this working and if i open both the forms as is, it works and the totals calculate but in order for the formFlash to open on the other screen I have to make it pop up and set its move properties (left/right) as the dual display is actually an extended view of the desktop.
the problem when i change the formflash properties to pop is that when the main form opens it fails to calculate the totals from the subform but in the bottom left hand corner just above the start it just says calculating.
I have tried other ways but no luck.
Can someone please advise me what I can do or is there a better way to work out the total and as the form is continusly calculating I think of the flash movie does this effect anything else?
Any help on this will be highly highly appreciated.
