Form not reloading data

i have two forms lets call them Form A and Form B on Form A there is a button that opens form b and shows up only the records that are related to the customer that i have open on Form A.

e.g if im on Client A it shows up Client A in Form B. I can fill out the information on Form B and it saves the data to the table the only thing is if i then close down Form B and open it up again instead of it showing what i have just put it it opens up blank. As if im starting a new record

what could be wrong.

How does form B know what records to bring up? Are you using a foreign key field from form A as a parameter in the recordsource query for form B?
