okay, -First, I am on a SQL Server.
I have a form whereby the user can click on a form and a pop up form will be displayed for that record. The user can make a selection on the pop up form that will run an update query on the table underlying the mainform. And, indeed, this is what happens the first time around. I can't however, change the record on the popup form after I have made the selection the first time.-No error, just nothing happens. But, when I run the update queries themselves, the mainform updates with no problem.
Also, after I have changed the record and I try to change it again on the mainform, I get an error that says"The data has been changed. Another User has edited this record and saved the changes before you attempted to save your changes. Re-edit the record.

I have tried to place a me.repaint on the afterupdate of the popup form, but this does nothing. Do I need to save the current record from the Popup form? If so, How do I save the current record on a different form?

actually,
Solved the problem. Just needed to refresh the mainform from the popup form instead of requerying it.
