Can anyone out there tell me if it is possible to determine the exct position and size of window of a form when opened.

I have a database with many forms inter-linked.

I want them to open in certain sizes and positions so that when all forms are open, you can easily flick between them.

Thanks
Jamie

The InsideHeight & InsideHeight properties will allow you to set the forms size. Add this to the forms OnOpen event to display and set the forms size.

MsgBox "InsideHeight = " & InsideHeight & vbCrLf & vbLf & "InsideWidth = " & InsideWidth
InsideHeight = 4605
InsideWidth = 7950

Your users might not like the clutter and hassle of having to find, move and resize all of the forms if you have too many forms open at one time. Imagine if you had all of your open programs visible yet small on your screen and you had to hunt and choose which ones to select and use when needed. Luckily, Bill gave us a task bar to choose and select our open programs.

Typically, that's why Windows provides the Window menu with options such as Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically, and Cascade.

To do something such as you have suggested would requre that your code works for different screen resolutions, too.

Not if your using Win.Mil., AutoHide the taksbar and PopUp forms. Uncle Bill decided to remove that little feature:mad:
