Form - Shrink Text and Move Text Automatically ?

Hello All,

On a form can you do the following? Or not?

I have a memo box which is the body of a letter.

I then have underneath that a label box that says "Regards" and two more boxes. One states who the letter is from and the other states their title.

How would I go about setting the body of the letter to auto fit the text entered into the field. And then set it to where during printing the Regards, From, Title boxes move up to the very bottom of the Body field?

Is that possible?

Please let me know if any of you have any ideas on how to do that.

Is your letter being printed from a report?
If so, set the can grow and can shrink properties for the memo field in the report.

Nopers

It's not being printed from a report. It's going to be printed directly from the form.

I tried setting the can grow and can shrink to the different yes/no possibilities and it's not working.

Any other ideas?

Question for you ... why would you print it from a report when you have the form already set up to be exactly what you want and print from it? I'm not being a smarty pants at all, please don't think that. hehehe I'm asking because I want to understand why you would print it from a report.

Ahh ok ...

I just checked on it in print preview with the can shrink and can grow being set to yes and it will print correctly. Just doesn't show up correctly in the form I'm looking at.

Question for you ... why would you print it from a report when you have the form already set up to be exactly what you want and print from it?

Forms are not designed with printing in mind, you cannot rely on them to print as displayed and their print options are limited
