Form slow to load (Access 2003)

Hello,

I have a form which is consistently slow to load. Is there some way to make Access 2003 tell me what it is doing behind the scenes while the hourglass mouse pointer is displayed?

Background:
Unbound form with text boxes for entering search terms and list boxes for displaying results.
A subform listing all entries for a particular date.
None of these need to load any records for the initial display of the form and changing the date refreshes the subform - which happens quickly.

Do you have code in the Load event of the form and/or subform?

If the listboxes are for displaying search results, have you thought about loading blank listboxes? That is, setting their Row Source property to ""
