Form --> Subform Combo Box Requery

Hello there. Thanks for your help in advanced. Let me outline my database for you before I start. I am dealing with the following tables:

tblPress, tblPressCategory, tblProgram, tblOrder, tblOrderDetail

Each press(intPress) from tblPress falls under a specific category(intCategory) from tblPressCategory, while each category(intCategory) falls under a specific program(intProgram) from tblProgram.

Example:
Press 1 is a Category 1 press that has Programs 1 through 8 available.
Press 15 is a Category 2 press that has Programs 1A through 8A available.

Here is my issue: Form->Subform requery combo box

When intPress in frmOrder is selected I am unable to automatically requery intProgram in subform frmOrderDetail based on the change that has been made by the selection.

Can someone help me with this or have I confused the issue more? Thanks again for your help!

Hello,

Not sure if I understand you correctly. But you could try putting the following code into the AfterUpdate event of your "selection" whatever that may be:

Forms!YourMainForm!YourSubform!YourCombo.Requery

As far as I can understand you, that should do it I believe.

PS> I am almost positive there is a shorter version of that code, but without fiddling I can't remember what it is! The above should work though!
