Hi i think i may need to rethink what i am doing all ideas welcome.
I have a form with checkbox options for .Waiting visit .visited complete closed.
It works ok untill i try to run a querie, then i may have all boxes ticked and it all gets mesed up .
Is there a way to say if this box ticked then display next box and so on .
I cant get my head round it .May be a diffrent aproach would be better

Are you able to post a sample of your data and exactly what it is you are trying to achieve?

Not shure how to do that.
Ill try explain better ,I have a form for surveys .When its waiting for the surveyer .I tick the check box .I can now do a querie for al surveys waiting to be surveyed .
When the surveyer has visited i have another check box to tick,so that i can run a querie to sewhat surveys have ben visited ,but this means i have to uncheck the previous tick box .and when the survey is no longer wanted i have another check box to tick so that i will not see it any more in my list of waiting surveys

You could fire your query based on an (unbound) form. On that form you would have three check boxes, that represents the three states of your survey. Then in the On Click event of the second and third check boxes you simply put a procedure to check the preceding check box/es and then run your query from there.
