Dear All,

How can I create a form (based on a table) that has certain fields in the header and certain others in the body
and
at first I fill in the fields in the header then if I insert new records in the body, the fields in the header will not be null, but keep the ones I used when I started filling in the form? (so basically the fields in the header remain the same, inheriting the first value throughout all the records inserted in the body)

Many many thanks in advance!!!
:)

Use a subform for the records being added. Set the Master/Child link fields in the subformcontrol properties and they will be automatically inserted in the subform records.

Normally the subform is a related table and usually you would only have one link between the primary key of the master form's query or table and the matching foreign key in the subform's query or table.

Thank you very much!
