Formatting Issue with Query

I made a query (and its pivot table view) and would like the numbers to be in certain format. I could format the underlying table but not the query itself.


1. Is there any way to format it?
2. if not, may be the query is not the best place to format data, do I have to do it in forms and reports?

I know i can always export the result of the query to Excel, but I don't really want to do that because that would create too many file and difficult to keep track.

You can right click on a column in the query designer and get the properties. One of the column properties is "Format". This will propagate to new Forms/Reports/Controls but will not update existing controls.
