Formatting messed up when importing forms

I'm trying to remove user-level security from a database I wrote a while ago. I've created a fresh database and exported everything from the old one, but some of the forms look different.

All the fields that were sunken are now flat, and all the tabs have a solid white background instead of being transparent (there might be other stuff, but that's what sticks out). In fact, I can't even work out how to fix the tabs so they have a transparent background?

which version of Access are you using? Also, there is a setting in the OPTIONS which I think is for individual databases and that is USE WINDOWS THEMED CONTROLS and if it isn't showing for you the way you want, you might want to either untick or tick the checkbox for that property and see if that helps.
