Ok...I've been working on this and I even have a book on Access but I'm alittle clueless. I'm trying to set up a form so that I can put in my customers name, phone, address, etc. and then under that I want a table so I can put what they bought. But I have an inventory as a table. I've tried putting a subform on the form and made it a combo box and that worked Ok..until I added a new record...when I went back it was gone! It was like it didn't keep up with who bought it or something...I've read alot about people saying linking and relationships...but how would I do this and what kind of relationship would I need. Would I link the subform to the form or what...I'm sorry if this sounds too dumb. But then again I learn and other people who read this learn also. Thanks in Advance. CodeCracker
