why do I always attempt things on a Friday afternoon!!!!

This is so easy I feel stupid....but the heat is getting to me.

All I want is a purchase order report. The form for the entry of the order is done...... based on a purchase order table (main form) and purchase order detail table as the subform.

How do you prepare a report so it lists all the products from the products detail table for that order.

I can't believe I haven't had to do this before.

Thanks and sorry for having my "stupid" head on this afternoon.

Hi Richio

Use the Report wizard and select the table you want to take the information from. The wizard will do the rest for you.

ps You're lucky to be getting some good weather!

Forms may contain subforms, and ................
Reports may contain subreports.

Same concept and implementation.

thanks

The trouble is I thought I was being clever by not using the wizards.

I suppose they are there for a reason.

You must be in the west of the UK......I did pity those people when looking on the weather map this morning.

You don't have to use the wizard, you can go to create new report and design view then if you want to base the report on a table or query enter this into the record source.

I'm actually in the east but I'm not down south.
