Guys,

The database I'm currently working is a big project, but I've a requirement to implement database as I complete each module... starting from tomorrow.

I primarily planned to implement the backend/frontend scenario, but when I will do that I will not see the relationship links in a relationship diagram and it'll be important as the database will grow for me to see those links as i continue working on the database.

Will guys give your valueable feedback and enable me to coupe with this situation please??

Thanks.

You're incorrect. They the relationships can be displayed. Click the "Relationships" button on the "Database Tools" ribbon, then the "All Relationships" button on the "Relationships" ribbon.

I have been doing this for many 20 years. Today this is often referred to as Agile Software Development.

Most software is development by teams. SO you will see a lot on Agile stuff about teams. I see myself as "The team". I do implement the Principles behind the Agile Manifesto.

Thank you Coach. I'll take your advice and learn about it as time allows. At the moment, I'm more interested in relationship diagram only as this is the immediate problem.

Yes, it does but there it shows tables only without lines showing the 1-1 or 1-Many relationship lines. This is what i wanted to see because it makes your understanding easy as you develop.

How I will be able to do that please? Or, is there any alternative approach?

Thanks

That's kind of weird. I see the lines when look at the relationships from the frontend of my system. I have Office 365. Was this different in other versions of Access?

Anybody else not seeing the lines?

Just open the back end directly.

I have always been able to view the relationship's of an Access back end from within the Access front end. You can have it open and the front end and the back end at the same time.

When I use Microsoft SQL Server as a back end I usually akso have SSMS open.

I've split the tables again and now it has appeared, along with Relationship lines. Maybe it was not appearing first because I tried to split tables in multiple backends, maybe??

I regularly use multiple back ends and. I have not has any issue with front ends showing the relationships for the different back ends.
