Function isn’t available
I recently moved to a new office.
I got a new computer running windows 2000 & it operates on an NT4 server. Ever since my move to the new office my reports and some of my forms in my database are not running properly. For now I’ll discuss reports only.

I print & email reports & append the date to them using the DATE() function. Now, whenever I try to do this, I get such errors, even on a dummy query which I made to verify there’s nothing wrong with my reports, but something with ACCESS97 as a whole.

“Function isn’t available in expression in query expression ‘Date()’”

Now if a query can’t use the DATE() function in a simple expression, something is wrong on an application level isn’t it? I tried the same thing with the TIME() & it failed the same way. Then I tried finding the ABSOLUTE COSINE of a number in an expression and that worked fine, so what’s going on? Please advise.

Thank you, none of my references were MISSING but when I selected an additional one & then unselected it, my problem was resolved! :D
