Is it at all possible to create some sort of fuzzy query to compare a field to a column and return all results that are relatively similar?
Here is an example of what im looking for (the commas are not separators they are part of the strings):
Table1 Field to lookup: fg,,holton,6547APDE,,,
Query results: vimtek,6547APE,,7
,takem654,10TPP
holten,44890DE
holtestech,90998YE
All of the query results contain parts of the field that was specified, but I know with LIKE, you need to know what exactly you want the search to look for. I just want to supply a field and find anything that is remotely close.
