Gantt charts

Does anyone have any experience with producing Gantt charts in Access? I have a database of test equipment with dates in which they are in use, in calibration or unavailable and want to show each on the y axis against a time line x axis with coloured bars to show usage. I'm open to suggestions on an alternative way of visualising the data.

I have no personal experience in this area ... but I do remember seeing an article in Smart Access on the subject.
