I've just begun to read about AI that people actually hook up to their computer to DO things - i.e. beyond just writing code that you take and put somewhere, but actually executing things. (I know, I'm way behind the times at this point). That seems ridiculously scary and inappropriate - an overuse of AI it seems, but it will keep growing nonetheless.
