Hi all
Firstly sorry as I know I am probably repeating someone's previous question, but as I've been out of the access game for quite a while I'm looking/hoping for a specific answer to my question.
Basically I'm creating a standard database for a small company, which has 3 simple tables (Customers, Products, and Orders) at the moment. As part of the orders table I want to create a reference number separate to the auto number which consists of taking the 'customer code' from my customers table and the current date and time.
I think that's the easiest way I can describe my issue, if you require further information just ask.
Hope you can help
Thanks
Lloyd
