Get External Data problem

Whenever I try to "Get External Data" --> "Import" using Access 2000, nothing happens. It says "Import Text Wizard" in the bottom left corner of the screen, but nothing ever comes up. I have two version of Access on my computer (97 & 2000) and this has caused some problems for me in the past.

I have went to Access 97 and done the same thing and everything works like it is suppose to. Does anyone have a clue to what can be done to get this to work properly.

Do not know if this is your problem, but when that is in the bottom of your screen, try Window, Cascade.
Once it was throwing the actual windows outside of the current window, an appearing like it was doing nothing, I found this brought it back to where I could see it.
Just a thought.

I have the same issue on Access 2000. I used the Cascade option and there wasn't another window. It's just gone.

I have been able to import fine in the past and all of the sudden, Get External Data isn't working. It allows me to select a file to import, but as soon as I hit 'Import' the window disappears and nothing is imported.
