Getting rid of background color on report

Hi, I've designed a report and ACCESS decided it needed background color. I have no idea why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. But that's not the problem.

When I go to properties, and background color, "no color" is not available.

How do I get rid of my that background color?

set it to white (that's the no color)

Thanks, but white isn't a choice. No colors. The choices are: Alternate Row, Background form...

I got it. Instead of picking from the list I needed to hit the ellipses.

This should be white or no colour

I find that I am able to overwrite where it says Background1 (or whatever it comes up with and if I type in #FFFFFF the colour changes to white. Similarly this works for border colours FWIW #000000 appears to be black. Hope this helps someone - sometimes typing is quicker than selecting.
