Getting Rid or Surpressing of a Warning Message

I have a command button that the user clicks to copy a record from one table to another table. How do I get rid of the warning message that tell the user that he/she is requesting to append (1) record, and ask if they are sure they want to do this..........?

Use the set warnings to turn the warnings off.

Docmd.SetWarnings False
docmd.Openquery sql
Docmd.SetWarnings True

Make sure you turn the warnings back on after you complete your queries.
