Hi
This is a source of frustration rather than a stop the job question.
When using the query grid in Access 97 , any changes to the layout of the tables was saved, so when you went back to the query everything was a syou left it.
With access 2000 and 2002, everytime I close the query, or datasource if is connected to a form, and reopen it, the tables have moved back to where access wants them, so if I have a lot of tables I always end up shuffling them before I can get on with the changes I want to make. It is even worse when I have more tables than will fit on one row, as It is hidden behind the grid at the bottom, and I can't see it at all so get very confused before I remember where it is.
Is there any way I can tell the grid to stay as I leave it, I have tried options and properties, but just can't find the settings for this, I've even tried help, but it wasn't any!
Thanks
Sue
