Getting Values In Subform

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any way to get the values into a continuous subform from a popup listbox? If there is how can i get it.

do you mean that you want to display records on a continuous subform based on a value chosen from an unbound listbox ?

Exactly... but the listbox can be bounded or can be unbounded... havent decided yet.

secondly it is a multiselect listbox

thirdly it is a pop up list box

therefore i would make the listbox unbounded. i will base the continuous form on a query, and in the query i will place Forms!formname!listboxname in the criteria row of the field which you should compare the value.

Then in the form where you have the listbox you should put the following in the afterupdate of your listbox:

Me.subformname.requery

The previous suggestion should work; I use it frequently. Make sure your query is using the Forms!Form!Subform criteria. If you just specify the subform is won't work correctly.

ok .... This is what i am doing.

1. I have a Producttable with four fields.
ProductID
ProductName
Description
UnitPrice

2. I have an InvoiceTable with a linked field to a InvoiceSubTable. I made a Form based on the two tables.

3. Form1 - A List box based on Producttable

4. Form2 - An Invoice Issuing Form with a main and a subform.

5. As per your instructions i based my subform on a query with the following criterial . [Forms]![Form1]![List0]

6. on the after update event of the Form1 i placed the following
me.Invoicesubform.requery

7. now the problem ... wheni open the invoice form it askes me a Parameter value. Ofcourse this is because of the criteria.

8. when i click on the popuplistbox it does not gives the values to the subform.

Now tell me that what i am doing wrong..or email me on the following any kind of demo
