Go To Record as you type

I would like my record locator form, which is a list alpha by last name, to work just like MSOutlook...As the user starts typing a last name, the cursor should move closer and closer to the desired record.

Hello:

If you have a combo box set up to "Find a record" the Auto Expand function of the combo box does that.

Combo Box no good for that

I am currently using the combo box method and don't like it...for the simple reason that when they type something that isn't in the list, it is no good. It needs to go to the closest match, even if what they type is not in the list.

Let's say they type BAXTER, and there is no BAXTER in the list. But there is SOMETHING that starts with BA, although nothing starts with BAX. I want it to leave them at the part of the list that at least starts with BA even if they type BAX, instead of giving the Not In List error that a combo box gives.
