Good Morning,

I have been working with a new database, and have created a button that will open up an employee form. Within that form there are a couple of subforms.

Out of the blue, when I clicked on this employee button, I get a gosub error and then VBA opens up and shows me the attached screen. I have no idea what this means, or what it's asking for me to do. I don't know so much about coding etc. Any help would be appreciated.

For what it's worth, I can somehow navigate around this error, and eventually get to the employee forms and see my sub-tables, but when I initially open my database, and click on this button, it throws this error.

What's with requering subforms in the Current Event ? You do not need to do that. Comment out the lines or get rid of the event altogether.

Best,
Jiri

That's the line throwing the error, not the error itself. What is the actual error message?

To answer some of your questions, it's telling you that the program encountered the error you had just clicked through when it tried to process the highlighted line.

Edit: Solo,l good catch. I completely missed which event he was running it on.

I know longer know the error, because as soon as I click on the button I had created, VBA opens up highlighting the line in yellow.

Jiri suggested I get rid of the lines. Do I simply delete the four rows and save?

Yes. You can also comment them out.
