graph lines

hi, i have a graph with results data plotted against time.
the graph time range is now extended from (originally 2007) up to dec 2008.
each month i will put the data in the table so the graph updates, but for the future months (may onwards) when the data is not preset, the graph line flatlines from may all the way up to dec 2008.

how do i get rid of this flatline and only show the line for when their is data in the table?

ps: i've added a picture of what i mean, i havent included the data as its personal.

Howdy. Best way to do this is setup your graph data separate from the actual data (starting in B2), then use this formula in the graph setup data (starting in B10):

=IF(B2="",NA(),B2)

Copy and fill down/across as needed. NA is a function that will not plot. The IF function can be more elaborate:

=IF(OR(B2="",B2=0),NA(),B2)
