graphs in Access

is it possible to place a graph from Excel in an Access report? instead of using the Access pivot charts?

As tempting as this is to do, can you make the graph work in Access and make it a sub-report of the main report? It might be smoother than the implied OLE operation that activates Excel to get to MS Graph to build your chart. Using Access Graph without going through Excel eliminates a middle-man, so to speak.

Import the Excel data to a temporary table and build your graph from Access.
