I was a big Zappa fan back in the day so too many to choose from.
Agreed. I vapor lock every time I try to nail one down. Frank Zappa is an unappreciated genius - his songs were on the burlesque side so the mainstream wouldn't play his songs. I have to admit his "Bobby Brown" puts me in stiches every time! Once in awhile, I need to blast it and my poor prime and proper wife just clucks her tongue and shakes her head and is grateful it is only ~3 min.

Must be why she got me those BT headphones...

And from the Moody Blues a computer related lyric
'I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.
[Establishment:] Of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles
Of files
Pretty files of your forefather's fruit
And now to suit our
Great computer,
You're magnetic ink.'

"Watch out where the huskies go so you don't eat the yellow snow."
"I caught it from the toilet seat, It jumped right up, and grabbed my meat . I caught it from the toilet seat"

From a song about Americans.
'You hate your next door neighbour, but don't forget to say grace.'
That sums up American peoples hypocrisy.

From a song about Americans.

Seriously Col. How are things in Northern Ireland these days?
Northern Ireland? It's fine thanks.
The topic is greatest one line in a song. I quoted a meaningful line in a song by Barry Mcguire- why are you derailing the thread?

Argh so many favourites...

"I don't blame you for taking umbrage with animals staring at your cleavage" - Lou Reed, So Alone

"If the real Jesus Christ were to stand up today, he'd be gunned down cold by the C.I.A." - The The, Armageddon Days (Are Here Again)

"Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion" - Tool, Schism

"Waiting like a stalking butler" - Tool, Sober

I was wondering what eclectic lyrics you were going to submit!
