Group header weirdness...

I have a report that is pulling data from a table. I decided that I wanted to group the report by a field that I had in the details of the report, so I moved it up to a head section and grouped on it. Now when I run the report the field is blank...move it back to the details section and everything is fine.

I've never seen anything like this. Anyone have an idea as to what might be happening?

You don't need to move the field anywhere. Just use the Sorting & Grouping feature of reports, select the field you wish to group on, and Access will do the rest for you.
