Hello,

I am creating a Form on which I have many controls. I need to place them in groups, on the Form. I can't find the control command to do that. Could someone please advise me on what to do please? Thanks much in advance

Not sure what you are asking here.

If you are just looking to group controls into groups on the form you could simply draw a rectangle around them and set your tab order to move from one control to the next in order.

Alternatively you could use a tab control and place your controls on separate tabs within the form.

My skills are a little above beginner. I guess the Tab Control will make the Form look more classy but some of the groups have only two controls on them.

however many thanks for your tips pr2-Eugin & Cotty42:)

Hi guys, I need to change the data type for some columns in my table from Yes/No to Text but it is locked. Not sure how that happened

I changed it for some of the others but these won't budge. I have removed any reference to these columns in the associated Form. Could someone please tell me how to go about this?

Locked how? Are you trying to change the field's data type in the table?

oops! never mind, I figured it out. It had opened as read-only.

yes I was but tis good now. Thanks.

Hiya, thanks much to everyone who's responded to my posts thus far. In my detail section, I have five tab forms and a Combo Box [Condition] with five values. [Condition] is bound to a field in my table.

I want the value of [condition] to bring up (or load...?) the corresponding tab form. I understand that I should do this in the after update event. How should I go about this please?
