I have a report that has PO #s and there may be several lines for one PO#. I want only the top line to show the PO# and the ascending lines just to show the other data without the PO# and all be grouped together. Pease help.

Go into the properties of your report and group on the PONumber. The PO number will go into the Group Header and the line items into the detail section

I have them grouped by PO number, thanks. How do I keep them from being double spaced? I want the groups single spaced if they are the same and the rest double spaced.

If your detail lines are too high, open the report in design view and make them shorter. Select all the controls on the line and set the top property to 0. Then drag up the bottom of the detail section to close up the space. Becareful not to cut off the descenders if you are using a serif font.

The lines are not too high, I just want the duplicate PO's single spaced and the others double spaced. Does that make sense?

1 more time ...

Try re-doing your report ... Only this time when you get to that second or third page where you chose what it's grouped by ... go down one more level and put your po #'s in there ... I think that'll do what you're talking about. Not positive but from what I understand. ;)

Good luck.
