Ok, I have a querie i am pulling from my sweet form data that you folks assisted me in collecting...

I have a Field Called Batch_Number_ID and each batch number I will have a document count. However I can have several errors under that batch but I only want one document count per batch. how do I set up my query to pull only one document count per batch. this causes issues when I do my reports and it totals all of my document counts listed per error. I want it Per batch? HELP

How would I do my experession? OR should I do the expression in the report itself???

Open your form in design view then open the properties to the form. IN the source it should give you your query name, then select the option on the right (3 dots ...) and it will open the query. select the field you want to group on and move into the criteria option then use the build wizard (at the top) to open the form elements on the left and select to extend it until you see the form name that is currently open. Select the form and in the next column in the build wizard you will see your field names, then simply double click on same field name you are using as your group, click oK then save the query and close it down, then change the view of your form and run the thing you need based on these instructions and you should only get the results in the query based on your field.
