No one replied to my other posts, but I managed to get somewhere anyway.

The problem I have now is that on my form my combo box populates the required field and if I jump from record to record it still shows.

But when I go to the actual table itself, the field that has been populated in the form is not showing in the table??????

Any Idea how to fix this problem

Thanks

Mmmm,

Sorry about that. I had looked and found answers on this site and others, but was unable to get them to work properly. That is why I posted in the first place. I would say that having worked on this for several solid days, no experience whatsover and a deadline, might have justified a post for some help.

Obviously not. I just hope you never nead help in a hurry mate.

Good site though.

Sounds like your combo is unbound. It needs to be bound to the underlying field in the table.

By the way, slagging people off, even very gently, is not a good recipie for ongoing help.

Thanks neileg,

I will look at that now, although I think I am making it more complicated than it should be.

Just quickly though, where you impling that I was slagging people off? Show me where and I will post an apology staright away.

"Nead"?

If I do, then I always put the correct title to the post to enable those that can help to identify quickly whether it falls in their expertise.
Many experts on this site don't respond to "Help needed quickly" or other such non-specific titles, if the poster can't be bothered to use the site properly then its tough.

Your deadline is not our deadline, we all work full time and help when we get a minute or are taking a break from our own work. If you continue to take helpful advice as a personal insult then good luck to you.

As Neil says, make sure the Combo is bound to a field in the underlying table.

Col,

As I said, I am truly sorry for all this.

Spelling mistakes and all!!! As far as the title was concerned, i thought it may attract attention to my needs, but that was being a bit selfish I guess. I will make sure that in future I submit only well formatted posts.

But Col, dont take this the wrong way like the rest of you replies to my post, I will make sure that I post in a well mannered and formatted way.

Thanks
