Happy Thanksgiving everyone - this year I'm thankful for a lot of things, but too rarely. Today I remind myself that I am blessed with a great family, the freedom of surrender to God, a good job, a brain that's mostly still intact and plenty of health, if not perfect. Enjoy this special day with your families if possible!

Just finished Thanksgiving dinner with my step-son and two grandsons plus my wife and friend who has no local family. Now preparing for a nap caused by tryptophan overload. (OK, I know that really isn't the cause of the nap... but it is SUCH a nice excuse.)
