The Democrats made the calculated choice not to have Biden on the New Hampshire primary ballot. A somewhat arrogant decision with two themes: 1) that Biden had the Democratic nomination for president "locked" up so there would be no need for him to be on the ballot. 2) that the Democrats (Biden) would have the dazzling optics of the "first" primary in South Carolina as a blood debt to Clyburn (as king maker) who "fixed" the Democratic nomination process to have Biden crowned as the Democratic nominee in 2020.

Biden has another Democrat (Dean Phillips) running in the New Hampshire primary. Evidently Phillips didn't get the "memo" that another Democrat was not supposed to run/compete with Biden. Interesting, a Democrat acting independently. Even more hilarious, Phillips has actually called-out the Democratic party for claiming to be the defenders of democracy, but actually suppressing democracy. (Evidently Democrats have been "fixing" the presidential nomination process since at least 2016, but may have done so before then.)

So now the rush is on to get a win for Biden by having people writing his name on the primary ballot so that it won't look like Biden lost an election to some unknown person. But there is a problem with that. New Hampshire has an open primary, which means that Independents and Democrats can vote for either the Republican or Democratic nominee to be the presidential candidate. Speculation has been mounting that Democrats were encouraging people to vote for Nicky Haley to knee-cap Donald Trump so that Trump could not claim New Hampshire as a win. It would seem that that tactic is now backfiring since the Democratic party is now frantic for Biden to win the Democratic primary there. Seemingly, that would imply that Democrats who had considered voting for Haley would now have to commit to Biden so that Biden won't be outdone by Phillips. That would be a benefit to Trump.

Did the Democrats make a rare tactical blunder with the New Hampshire primary?

Late breaking news since posting. DeSanits has dropped out of the New Hampshire primary and endorsed Trump. That benefits Trump.

I know it looks like Trump will pick up a lot of the DeSantis voters but I don't think will be enough. I don't know how many primaries allow people to vote in the opposition party's primary but it could be enough for Trump to loose the primary. Since the Democrat candidate has been specified (in "their" democracy, the Democrats don't need to allow the people to pick the candidate. They just pick for them so there won't be a mistake) it really doesn't matter if anyone votes for Biden. The "super" delegates will handle the problem at the convention if there is one. It is more important to unseat Trump and Nikki Haley is their last great hope. if it is just Trump and Haley and she can get 30% of the republican vote, all they need to do is to encourage Democrats to vote for Haley instead of Biden.

Do you really believe most Democrats or the powerful ones feel this way? Nikki polls better for beating Biden.

I think Democrats are hoping for a Trump rematch instead, this gives them a better chance at winning. If Nikki is the candidate they are screwed, she is sterile as a hospital, in political terms

The Dems have no need to cheat if Nikki is the candidate. She's on their team. Do you really think Democrats would be going out of their way to vote in Republican primaries FOR Nikki if they really wanted to run against Trump?

You're being a little naïve. If Nikki somehow manages to win the primary, do you think the Dems would play clean? Nope, they'll do whatever they can to beat her "clean" because they still want their guy to win but they won't cheat against her. So, yes, she could win but she'll be worse than Biden because she'll be consciously making the same bad decisions and we'll be at war as soon as she can manage it. Very likely with China because we'll have to take Taiwan back. Nikki doesn't think DC is broken and she has no desire to change it. That's why she is no threat to the Dems.

They won't cheat when they don't have to because the risk is too high now that the Republicans are watching. Trump is an existential threat to "their" democracy. They have to cheat against him regardless of the risk because the downside for them of a second Trump term is enormous. Trump isn't going to persecute them the way they keep projecting but he will prosecute crimes. Haley is no threat to them. She will not go into office with a plan to drain the swamp. She likes the swamp. She is part of it. Her donors pay to keep it that way. Having her as president is dangerous. She never saw a war she didn't like. Biden pushed Putin so hard, Putin invaded Ukraine. China is strong enough to invade us at home, especially with Russia and Iran and a large bunch of other small countries who hate us for what we have done to them over the years in the name of "democracy".

Look at the weakness of the Republicans in the house. Hunter Biden waves his middle finger at them - TWICE - and all they do is reschedule his hearing. Trump supporters who legitimately claimed executive privilege get jail time. That is cringeworthy weak. Nikki is one of those people. The really bad thing about the executive privilege argument is that no future Republican president will enjoy it ever again now that Trump lost it because the Republicans allowed it to happen because they didn't think that the evil orange man deserved it. The Democrats will still get it because the Republicans are feckless pieces of dog poo. That is the bottom line. It was a seriously foolish mistake that Republicans will never recover from.

Except why should they do that when they see we are destroying ourselves from the inside for free.

They still want to control us. Their strategy of weakening us first is working remarkably well. Our children are stupid and addicted to their phones and live and die by "likes" which means they are quite willing to live under the social system China is rapidly imposing on its own citizens. Covid proved that most Americans are sheep, especially if you terrify them as the PTB did with the COVID scare. The absolute proof is when parents agreed to give their young children who were in absolutely no danger from COVID, a "vaccine" that would not prevent them from getting COVID but which has never been adequately tested and there are no indications of potential long term issues. Pre-COVID, a vaccine took eight years of testing before it was approved for public use. AND unlike the fake COVID vaccine, the vaccine was actually expected to prevent the illness in the vast majority of the inoculated.

Now that the dust has cleared, some of the lies are surfacing but it is piecemeal and the "media" is still blocking it as much as they can. No one has ever apologized for the early models that lit the fire when they predicted a mortality rate in excess of 10%. The mortality rate (once you get rid of the bogus death reports) is approximately that of a severe flu but the disease was VERY targeted. The old and ill died from COVID, the young and healthy, if they had symptoms at all, had mild cases. Yes, the predictions were approximately 50, yes FIFTY times worse than the reality and we had indications of the danger pool very early on. The actually mortality is ~ .019% Yet, what did we do? We inoculated the young and healthy to "stop the spread" which was the totally wrong approach but it sounded good and would spread the fear the most effectively. Especially since it didn't actually "stop the spread" as it was promised to do.

I think China just watches and chuckles sometimes. They are so far ahead of us in most areas it seems like it's just a matter of time before their appetite for control develops into an imminent threat.

Buy toilet paper and firearms. (i'm kidding, but it is funny to picture when all you have left is to sit on the toilet shooting)
