Having a problem-- please help

Could someone please help me. I am trying to make some design changes to a database for someone. I am not the one that did the original design and whenever I try to open the database using access it will not let me go into design view. HTe main database form comes up and that is all that I am able to see. I cannot start the VB editor nor can I access the menu bar or toolbars. Please help.

It sounds basic, but have you tried holding down the Shift Key when entering into the Database?

Failing that, try clicking on Window in the Menu Bar and click on Unhide.

If that fails, you might be opening the database with a runtime version of Access or have /runtime in the Command line of the shortcut properties. Try opening Access first before opening the database.
