Hi, i hope someone can help with this problem i'm having. I've done a thorough search on these boards and it seems no one else has had this problem, which leads me to believe that I’m missing something very simple.

The problem I’m having is that I have designed a simple report, which I want to be able to either print from a form or e-mail. The report has our company logo header/footer on it, if I print the form then the both the header and footer prints out fine, if I try to e-mail the report then both the header and footer and any frames/drawing are missing from the page.

I have tried sending the report in the different formats, and I have the same problem on each (apart from ‘snapshot’, but not everyone has access to that). The format I would like it to work with is ‘Rich Text Format’.

I am using Access 2000.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks
Darren.

Its been noted on every single access forum I have visited that the 'Export to RTF' doesn't work as it should. It used to work flawlessly on my machine, showing graphics, lines, etc. However at some point it refused to co-operate and now won't show anything but text. If anyone finds out the fix to this there will be many, many grateful people out there!

I see my searching skills need improving. :o
Thanks for the reply, at least its kind of reassuring that I’m not missing something obvious. Its good to know it should work in ‘RTF’ too, maybe there is a fix out there, the search goes on.

Export to .rtf never worked properly. Even though the .rtf format can support the graphical elements of an Access report, the export code strips these elements.

Erm I'm sorry but it did. I had Export to RTF working fine, printing graphics and lines exactly as I wanted them. Yes, I did design the report with the export in mind, but it worked exactly as you would expect it to. Whether this was a change from Access 2000 to Access 2002 I don't know. I wish I had kept a copy of some examples just to prove this.

How did you do it? I've tried many things, Lines won't export so I used a label w/underline, but that's the only work around I've been successful with
