I used Access during my working years, never I was a pro but I could manage on what I was doing. Now I'm retired, I bought Access 2010 and its one of my hobbies to learn just for the fun of it.
Other hobbies include CNC machines which I make and sell (now I'm on the 4th machine) not for profit but just to recover my cost
I also like renovations / decorations and dont forget my 8 years old female Shiu-Tzu, she is adorable!
