Well I've just landed a new job but little did I know my new employer has the most convoluted reporting process. Currently they are using several mdbs to run data extracts from a DW on a nightly basis, the access dbs are then linked to excel for reports. Everything is painfully slow and most jobs can only be run serially - surely there must be a better way to the same thing which doesn't need 2 guys with a combined experience of 20 years to look after?
Anyway looking for advice and guidance before I lose my sanity on anything access so hope I've come to the right place.
