Hi Everyone.
I've been using MS Access off and on since version 2.0 (around 1994), building applications for a variety of purposes. The last version I actively used was version 2003, and I've been starting to use versions 2007 and 2013 to build apps again. The locations of many items have changed, so I'm re-learning a lot.
I'm moving towards integrating Access with open source tools: Python, PHP, and PostgresSQL. I believe Access will work well with all of these, and I intend to use it to transform and transform data to these other platforms.
Outside of building Access applications, I love Theatre. If you do too, I'm happy to hear that I'm not alone! I'm working toward developing programs that will assist with the production and marketing of plays and musicals. (I also enjoy playing golf).
Looking forward to contributing to this community!
Sincerely,
Robert
