My name is Bart, I'm an RN in Critical Care for a Hospital in Oklahoma City. Years ago I taught myself VBA while working for a consultant, connecting AutoCAD drawings to Access Databases. While I did not build or manage the DB's I became familiar with Access and its strengths over a flat file format for data tracking.
Now some 16 years later I'm dusting off that part of my brain to try and implement a database solution to track emergent events in our facility. Currently they are using a flat file solution. I'm here hoping to find information that will help me with my table schema, query building and form design. And if all goes well, hopefully be able to contribute back at some point as well.
