I have been associated with Access since 1994, when Excel and Lotus 123 were no longer able to process the amount of data related to the settlements of the production I was responsible for. My entire professional life is related to the food production and creation, food issues are also my hobby. In all positions in various places after 1994, I used the Access capabilities and I’m sure it paid me back. Since 2014, I have been working on the idea of creating a comprehensive Access application to record daily diet, calculate caloric needs, compare diets, creating food recipes. My application trial version is on calmeal.com. Sometimes I use this forum watching different solutions. I would like also to be a help to other. I am an advocate of using built-in macro capabilities and avoiding VBA if possible, because in my experience, building is faster then and the solutions are more stable (if someone is not highly experienced in VBA).
