I'm currently trying to analyse some bird ringing (banding for the North American folks) data from the UK. I'm not doing this as part of my job; at the age of 51, I decided I was going to do an MSc in the subject of my first love; birds. In working on my dissertation, I've already discovered some interesting things from my data but I will be posting a question or two soon because I am now stumped on how to manipulate the data to enable me to do some further statistical work.
When I'm not 'off with the birds' as my mates would often describe me, I'm into ham radio, caving, mountain biking and building model steam engines.
Anyhow, I thought I should follow the instructions and say "hello"
