Hello everyone!
My name is Colton Pepper and I am new to this website. I have created a rather large (in my opinion) database and I was trying to make it as efficient as possible so I opened google, typed in a question about how to create a splashscreen and this website came up! Since that day, I found myself coming back here time after time and today, after trying to figure out how to make a button open a webpage, I said, "I might as well join because I use this so much!" I hope I can contribute to the forum as well and not only ask questions.
I am a Systems Administrator here in the US. Being an SA isn't really my forte and after working with this database, I think I should really concider crossing over to be a Database Administrator (DBA). It's pretty nerdy but I love building a database from the ground up and deploying it. As a DBA, you ACTUALLY see the fruits of your labor. Where as an SA, I create an account and uuuuuh.... yeah...
Hobbies: I was told that I must say what I enjoy doing. My favorite thing in the whole world is Golf. I am a golfing nut. I grew up in Wichita, KS and had all the outdoorsy jobs. I worked at a lot of agriculter jobs. My wife owns a horse and would always be in the barn either doing chores or riding and natually, I was always with her. Never in my mind did I think I would be excited about making a database in MS Access to track trouble calls LOL! But hey... I love it and it pays the bills. Thats about it. I could talk all day but I much rather get to my question on a different thread. Take care!
