Hi everyone,
I'm new here, and rather new to Access. My summer reading is normally more imaginative, but this summer I've been working through the "Microsoft Access 2013 Bible"...
I'm using Access to build a database for my dissertation in linguistics (phonology/phonetics, specifically). When I'm not databasing/dissertating, I'm taking care of my son, walking my dog, doing mundane things like cooking and cleaning, and occasionally knitting and reading (recent books include "We Wish to Inform You", about the Rwandan genocide, "The Elephant Whisperer", about an elephant reserve in South Africa, and I'm currently reading Hemmingway's "A Moveable Feast").
I don't have a CS background, but over the last two years I've started using R (statistical computing package) and Matlab (for signal processing), so I'm starting to get the hang of this coding thing...
Thanks to everyone for such a useful forum!
