Hi,

I am a Free-Lancer. I have a MS in Civil Engineering. I am new to MS Access.

G'day Hokie and welcome to the Forum.

Hope you find what you need.

A quickie question. Does MS stand for Masters or something else. Bear in mind that we are in different Countries.

I apologize for the abbreviation. MS stands for Master of Science.

That's OK.

I was just not 100% sure.

My son has the same degree but does not have his Masters.

I don't think he feels a Masters would do any him any benefit.

At the moment he is 26 and is 2nd In Charge on most projects.

He is doing well but work is scarce at the moment. He may just have to travel further.

Better to get a Masters now while he is still young. Just my opinion.

He was offered a Masters in Accounting which would have only taken 18 Months.

He said that no one cares. They are more interested in experience than anything else. But this is Australia and could be very different where you are.

You can lead a horse to water etc.

But then I wish I was earning what he is. I am retired and am learning how not to spend money.
