Question Help! Can I make a Calendar or Diary page?

Hi,

I am very new to Access, and I have been asked to create a staff database for work.

So far, I have my employee table, with names, addresses, job titles etc, an absence table for noting sickness episodes, ( I have entered fields employee ID (linked to employee table), absence type (lookup list) week ending, date started, date finished, hours lost and whether the illness is ongoing.

I now want to log holiday dates in - and I would like to create a diary or calendar page, that would show the coming year in a calendar or diary format, that I could click on a date and add holidays that the staff are taking. This would then show both on their own personal forms, and as a main calendar.

We could then see if there are any clashing holidays and make sure that people are taking their entitlements in the time allowed. If possible I woul like to note their holiday entitlement and work out how many days they have left to take aswell.

Is there anyway I can do this?

I would be very grateful for some help!
