I know this is probably an easy one, but I don't know how to do it and need a little guidance. I have an Access 2000 DB hosted in the fpdb folder on my web server. This DB collects data from various forms and also opt-out email addresses. I want to be able to either open the web DB from my local coputer or somehow link to it so it will synchronize the data with a copy of the DB on my local computer. I can open the DB in Access via FrontPage 2002, but if I try opening it it directly in Access by going to "My Network Places" and selecting my website then the DB it gives me an error "Microsoft Access is unable to open the data access page ...The file does not exist or you do not have read access to the file". What am I doing wrong and/or what is the best way to accomplish what I want to do? I need to join tables in this DB with tables in another DB on my local computer so I can run queries. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
